Snowman

For one of our advent activities this week we read The Biggest, Best Snowman. It is about a girl who is little and always told by her family she is too small to do anything. With the help of her forest friends she builds the biggest best snowman ever and her family realizes she can do things.

I drew a snowman on blue cardstock and they used a glue stick all over the snowman. They added buttons, eyes, carrot noses and then poured salt all over the snowman and shook off the excess. Then Ellie used a marker to draw arms and a hat. They turned out really cute!

They did turn out cute. who would have thought you would have to tell them not to eat the salt? What a cute activity and I like the book too!

what a great idea to use salt vs. glitter that is more expensive and harder to clean up!

Love seeing what you and the girls are doing!!
